Rising number of stolen items in the store essay example

Following the recent happenings in the store where several expensive items have been reported stolen and the subsequent suspicions by a colleague. I hereby wish to declare that I am innocent of these suspicions and that I have no idea who stole the said items. Since I started working for this store I have never stolen or been reported for stealing anything. I am a man of principles and I believe that my colleague is out to damage my reputation for personal reasons. We have had personal differences and this may be the reason why my colleague accused me falsely. Never the less I am willing to support investigations in any way to clear my name. If and when I am called upon I will avail myself for questioning.

I would like to express my concern on the security system in the store and to give my suggestions to avoid future theft problems and subsequent false accusation. I suggest installation of surveillance cameras in the store, this will capture everything that happens in the store everyday and incase of theft or missing items it will be easy to review the videos captured and identify the thief. I also suggest that security tags to be attached to all the items in the store so that no item leaves the store without the knowledge of the management. I sincerely hope that the management will investigate this matter and that the culprit will be brought to book.
