Personal ment for MS in Business Management and Leadership I am an immigrant from Poland and have come here for pursuing higher studies with specialization that opens the wider doors of opportunities. An MS in Business Management and Leadership is that opportunity, which can give me a distinction from others at various performance platforms. When I came here, my English language skills were below level but I worked hard to improve my GPA to reach above 3. 9 levels.
Presently, I am pursuing my second degree program in Economics from Lehman College. My first degree was from City College of New York with a major in anthropology. I t was my keen interest in subjects like economics, business studies and finance that prompted me to pursue the current program in Economics and attempt to get admission in higher studies program.
It is my belief that an MS in Business Management and Leadership will help me enhance and further my career in the long run. I want to pursue this program because it would add to my education and career growth thereby expanding my knowledge of the workings of the business world and provide me a higher platform to prove my worth in giving a new direction and leadership to the business world.
I have worked very hard to become eligible for this program. My interest in economic matters worldwide also encouraged me in pursuing a bachelor degree in Economics so that I need not make extra efforts in clearing pre-requisite courses. Now, I am better in the English language skills.
The subjects taught during the course of the program will help me better my ability to see the broader picture in aspects concerning the management and leadership of the organization that I join after completing this program. I would be able to analyze the situation and form a path that would be better suited for the growth of the organization. This program will make me more valuable in the job market and will help me gain a position of greater responsibility in my field and also if in case I decide to change and start in a different line of business it will prove to be a stepping stone and give me a platform in a new field as well. This program will enable me to gain the skills and knowledge that a high profile job requires as well as the dedication, zest and the time-management skills to handle the pressures of it.
This program in business management and leadership would provide me the opportunity to accomplish and achieve professional heights that an undergraduate degree can not provide. All the avenues will open up for me to display my knowledge and help in becoming a competent manager and leader. It would help me enhance my communication skills and also give me the confidence to put across my arguments. It will give me practicality in thought to set attainable goals, maturity and decisiveness in my decisions. I would also be able to develop new concepts and ideas and knowing that I am capable of doing the task will give me motivation for hard work. It is not only about personal growth as a goal of mine is also to benefit monetarily. After I complete this program I see myself with a greater earning capacity.
The program will help me become a knowledgeable person with a skill set that everyone does not possess. It will facilitate me to be entrusted with work that will give me a position of a leader that I want to be in my profession wherever I work by nurturing the qualities that help me in winning the trusts of the coworkers. The training provided to me during the program will assist me in dealing with problems that will surface during my professional career.
