Robert Hawking was born in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, on 19th May 1967, to parents Stephen and Jane Wilde Hawking. His mother is a writer, educator and journalist best known or her memoirs. Robert was raised in Hertfordshire alongside his brother and sister, Lucy and Timothy. It wasn’t all rosy for the trio as their parents got divorced in 1995. Robert was twenty-eight at the time.
