I’m interested in joining Juris Doctor
As a recent graduate of the University of Birmingham with my degree in electrical engineering and law, I have strong aspirations to get a job that combines the two majors. I recently learned that in order to get a job in one of these two fields of study, it would require more training and that is one of the reasons why I am applying for the Juris Doctor Program. The Juris Doctor Program can really open doors to my future career in either law or electrical engineering, I feel that there is so much that I can learn in this program that I can apply to everyday situations. Another reason why I want to apply for the Juris Doctor program is because I have a strong desire to get a job in public service because my need to help people is very immense, I am a very good negotiator which I would like to be able to use that skill in my chosen profession in the future and I think I stand to learn a lot from this program. When I finish this degree program, I have plans to use that knowledge to make a lot of changes to a lot of the job areas where I know this knowledge would be useful like if I wanted to get a job in Intellectual Property law or even get a job in the medicine field. I have the skills and the competitive angst to keep up with everyone else in this program, I am prepared to work harder than I have ever worked before. Despite the fact that I got my degrees online, I am very knowledgeable about the information in both majors. I have an excellent GPA and I have no problems keeping my grades up with the extra workload, getting into this program as well as completing it is my ultimate goal; I will make every effort to be punctual in getting my work as well as projects in on time. Just being able to work so closely to people who would be on my level in this program would be a dream come true for me, I studied and worked really hard to get this far; I feel that not being able to take full advantage of this program would be a total waste of my talents as well as my abilities. My greatest strength is being able to think critically and use that to solve very difficult problems, I would like to put my critical thinking skills to work within the Juris Doctor program because I know that I could make a difference; there is nothing more important that using the skills at my disposal in order to lead a discussion or solve a problem. I think my being in this program would benefit me and the people I know I will be working with. I eagerly await your response.
