5. Multiply the length of 3 1/2-inch hose by 0. 17 to determine the length of a 2-inch hose.
Example:
What is 1000 feet of 3-inch hose with 2-inch couplings equivalent to in 2 in hose
Ans: The factor for the 3-inch hose is 2. 5.
Therefore, 1000/ 2. 5 = 4 00 feet of 2 inch hose.
