Some people say that they are too lenient while others say that there is no need for torture in extraction of useful information from criminal suspects. Torture is defined as the infliction of physical pressure to a person in order that the person may reveal all relevant truths about a specified subject.
Most American specialized officers use psychology and some other tricks to get criminals into speaking. When such methods fail, they resort to pain infringement that has been known to work under certain circumstances.
