Ideally, the codes are outlined also to help the employee have a clear framework on what is expected of each one of them.  This way the employee has a clear understanding of the vision and mission of the organization. The code of ethics sets the organizations values that describe its obligation to the stakeholders, employees, and customers (Chang, 2011).
