of Ethics of Ethics To serve as a guide to all employees and directors of Brook House, a of Ethicsand Business Conduct is provided to ensure that all employees do business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Our company is committed to doing business in a socially responsible manner, taking into account ethical values at all times, respect for human rights and honest service to the communities which we are part of. All employees and directors of Brook House are expected to follow the Code of Ethics and all laws of the U. S. government.
Responsibilities of employees and directors of Brook House
The Company values trust, honesty and credibility; thus, each one is expected to perform his duties with these values in mind. The company is passionate about its commitment to excellence. The workplace environment upholds human dignity and respect. Brook House is a diverse workplace and as such respect for the various cultures are encouraged. The beliefs, values, talents, ideas and opinions of each individual is recognized and not discriminated.
General guidelines
1. All decisions made by an employee/director shall be for the best interest of the Company; thus, any action that may result in a conflict of interest with the Company should be avoided.
2. Acceptance of gifts or anything valuable from customers, suppliers or competitors is will not be tolerated as this might compromise the business decisions that must be made.
3. The assets of the Company must be protected and must be used according to their intended use and not for any personal benefits.
4. The organizational culture calls for an open and honest communication among the employees and management making sure that they have the right to voice out their opinions without fear of retaliation from anyone.
The above suggested Code of Ethics can be further improved to have more specific guidelines as may be required by the Company.
