Social work is therefore the discipline that seeks to intervene on the quality of human life that is, characterized by life in correction departments. In addition, a social worker is a professional who is skilled in working together with the people. He or she mans the lives of those under his or her care. Execution of policies that are aimed at restoring social inequality is thence, of vital importance in bettering the living conditions of correction institutions.
