After the killing of the king, which we do not see are horrible consequences for both Macbeth and Scotland. There are many consequences for Macbeth over the murder of the king one of which is the effect of this crime on his soul. At first before the killing of Duncan Macbeth was uncertain about the deed that was to be done he questioned himself and thought about the consequences of his actions which turn out to be a “ breach in nature”. Before commenting the murder, Macbeth seen a floating danger before the crime was committed” is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle before my hand “, which makes me think maybe he was going mad at the thought of committing the murder that he was already suffering since he meet with the witches.
Macbeths finds himself lost after the murder and regrets it but lady Macbeth tells him to “ look like the innocent flower but be the serpent under it” , he is overwhelmed with guilt “ I’ll go no more I am afraid to think what I have done” also “ a foolish though to say a sorry sight “, after committing this Macbeths hands were red with blood and they were not clearing of the evidence “ will all great Neptunes ocean wash this blood clean from my hands”, Macbeth’s conscience also suffered consequences, after the killing of the king, he seemed not to hesitate to murder his enemies and people who got in the way of his place as his place as king, once Macbeth killed Duncan it seemed to become easier for him as he killed men, women, and children all for the thrown and did not say he felt guilty after it.
