The book, “ Elementary Catechism on the Constitution of the United States” is 1828 documentary that address issues such human trafficking in the western world. The book was first published by Arthur J. Stansbury. According to the book, human trafficking was one of the major reasons that influenced slavery in the 18th century. The issue influenced a number of concerns to the western administrations stating that human trafficking was a major issue. Prostitution and slavery was one of the major problems that faced migrant workers during this period. During the time, laws were not implemented to secure people from practicing human slavery. Based on the documentary, human trafficking was mainly carried out during this period in order to promote slavery. During the time, women were raped while young children were separated from their parents so as to be enslaved in foreign countries.
According to the documentary, human trafficking influenced a number of issues such as contamination of diseases. People having sex with different partners influenced risk of dangerous diseases such as STIs. Young children were separated from schools in order to practice commercial sex and work for their masters. Most of the slaves during the time did not get the opportunity to study or develop as a result of slavery and torture. According to the documentary, it is clear that human trafficking increased as a result of demographic inequalities globally, the rise of conflicts, and global climate change. Based on the documentary, the major purpose of human trafficking was forced labor, sexual slavery, and domestic servitude. In general, the documentary clearly reviews that human trafficking was the influence of conflicts between states such as the First World War.
