Evidence Based Practice, otherwise referred to as EBP, can be defined and explained as an interdisciplinary approach applied in various fields such as nursing, psychology as well as education. Its assumptions and principles are that all the made decisions in the above named disciplines should be based and founded on research, selected from specific norms and factual characteristics. This is because it has been figuratively found that the biggest percentage of the people suffering from Iatrogenetic reactions are the people above the age of 65 years, and this is as a result of adverse drug events and consequences.
