This is because the only people who attack them are the state’s police charged with the responsibility of guaranteeing them with safety. Therefore, compared to their war torn states, the condition do not have much difference except that the refugees are safe during the day.
Emotive language in this narration coupled with pictures; mainly emphasize the severe experiences, which the narrator encountered while as a refugee. In each paragraph regarding a certain incidence, the narrator conveys the message in a manner to arouse emotions of the readers. This is via making the reader feel what he underwent and how the situation affected him.

Yves in this article employs immensely the aspect of emotive language, which acts as gluing element meant to capture both the reader’s attention and emotions. This is via vivid elaboration and depicting how each experience affected him, which is still evident in his life (Sanctuary Australia Foundation, 2011). Hence, being able to convey his intended message regarding the refugees’ sufferings where they do not cease while in the camps but increase.
