History of psychology versus the nurture of gender essay

In many ways, modern society has been shaped by psychological developments from the 19th Century onwards. These range from deep- seated issues such as consciousness and its nature, to ordinary and mundane issues such as the influence of work on behavior. Research in psychology has to a great extent influenced the way people look at the world, and even how they react to different event in their lives. The nurture of gender, on the other hand, contrasts the effects of nature from those of nurture in relation to the development of gender. In this debate, the nurture of gender offers evidence for the influence of nurture in gender development, where it covers issues such as gender roles, gender identity and sexual orientation.
