The proposition of Birthright Israel Excel is special and unique in its sphere as it enables this complex and controversial combination of social and business contribution that each of the fellows, accepted to the program have a chance to make. While at the same time the expectations of the program management is extremely high, it is also illuminating and motivating to find myself involved in the program both, as individual and professional.
I believe that modern Israeli society is in need of future leaders that are not only capable and willing to bring forward their professional knowledge and expertise, but also realize the need and important role of cultural identity in all aspects of their professional and personal life. Leadership, in contrary to management is the multifaceted and diverse quality that along with natural attributes requires experience and understanding of personal and social identity. I am convinced that in order to live a life of fulfillment it is critical to connect with our Jewish community and find your comfort zone in dynamic world of diversity and conflicts.
A number of complex multifaceted issues surround the relationships between Israel and Arab countries. This cultural and social disagreement places constant emphases on the meaning of freedom, human rights and natural desire for peace and fairness. Israeli people leave in constant threat and pressure on personal identity and, yet, they maintain their spirit that I so much admire in our community. Continues process of learning and knowledge transfer allows individuals and society in general to keep their passion for life through self-realization and identity. What is even more critical is to be able to find a way not to become a product of this conflicting and self-distrustful environment and I see my responsibility as an ambassador of this peace and leadership as an individual and a member of Israeli community. I set an objective to bring the best of my knowledge to transform conflict into progress and learn from my colleagues and management team how to address and contribute towards the solution of this deep socio-cultural issue.
I am a leader by nature and I strongly believe that my professional background and theoretical experience will allow me to make a memorable contribution into pursuing innovation and motivation in my professional area as well my personal identity and passion to bring Jewish heritage into the international business environment make me a right candidate for this program. While each of us is the ambassador of the Jewish community and should always recognize this role in whatever society we live, the opportunity to work, learn and develop together with the remarkable industry and community leaders, provided by the Birthright Israel Excel is unique. I am confident that participation in the program will provide me with additional boost of knowledge and bring me to a new self-development level, which I further will be able to utilize to build on the welfare of our community. With the above in my, It would be a great honor to become a part of the program and contribute towards its objectives and diversity as an individual.
