Part 2 – Journal on Humanity and Ethics
Use the space below to compose a journal of 250-500 words on humanity and ethics by answering the following:
Man is inherently good. Human beings were created in the likeness of the sole creator, God. God created Human beings to be in charge of his creations and gave them authority to take care of his creations. In Genesis, Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden and became surrounded by good things (Genesis 2: 4-25). Human beings were intended to be good creatures. It is up to the coming of Satan that sin set in (Genesis 3: 1-21). Human beings are evil as a result of following the ways which God intended them not to follow.
Human beings are naturally supposed to be good creatures. His progress to good is inevitable. Since human beings are creations of God, it is inevitable for them to return to their creator in the afterlife by embracing salvation.
Human beings when left alone without the grace of God will most likely enter into conflict with other fellow men. For humans, God serves as the sole protector and one who provides them comfort in times of problems. God forgives those who sin. In a place where humans exist without God, chaos would result among men. An example is the constant wars that exist between countries in a bid to have control of the world. Human beings usually attempt to dominate over other human beings to take the position of God, hence creating more chaos as they get opposed by others. An excellent example could entail Korea’s bid in attempting to acquire nuclear weapons so as to challenge other super powers like U. S. A and Russia.
Humanity and ethics from the Christian perspective is often viewed from the biblical perspective as Christians often follow certain rules that govern their day to day activities.
