Introduction

After one have date a fellow partner for some while, he/she may have various suggestions as to whether or not to progress the relationship into the next stage. To be sure of the partner, it is advisable to hold a discussion between the partners in the relationship to be in opposition to know one’s partner better through various questions. Among the top questions that are essential in the relationship may include: Do you think it is important to be faithful to one another? What do you like and dislike about my family? If we decide we do, how many children do you want to have?
While I was dating my potential partner, I made an effort of holding a successful discussion that really assisted in making decision on moving forward or not. I made this choice because I take that discussion as a compatibility and relationship maker. Discussion with a potential partner is a valuable exercise because it enables the involved party to know and understand each other better. This exercise enables relationship partners to examine their own ability and readiness to be engaged in a serious relationship.
Other question that should be considered important in the relationship discussion includes: are you morally compatible? What are your expectations in your relationship? Such questions are essential for potential partners since they can help then to avoid future breakups.

All partnership discussion could be challenged by the ethnic, social, culture or religious background in various ways. Cultural differences may result in inadequate hold up from both family and early age marriage, hence poor response in the discussion. Some cultural norms are so strong that cannot be altered by the discussion of the partnership thus limiting the question to be discussed in the conversation.
